CLAT - OVERVIEW by Knowledge Nation Law Centre





Anybody who want to going to specialized his career, he has to going through  a specialized course  related to that field In India. For example a student who want to going field which is related to engineering, he must go through B. Tech, ITI and any other which are also courses and a Medical inspired student will opt for Medical field like that. 

Many a courses in India, One of them CLAT is also a course of which means in full form is COMMON LAW APTITUDE TEST. 

The name of Common Law Aptitude Test describes its meaning itself but here needs to be known about this completely.  

CLAT(Common law aptitude test) is one of the best test for students who want to make their career in law field. Which is organised by national law consortium made by Universities in India. This consortium affiliates Universities to admit the CLAT qualifying students. 

CLAT examination has two level. One is CLAT UG and another is CLAT PG.  

CLAT UG examination is organized for that students who take admission in BA LLb after 12th and another CLAT PG  for MA LLB after Graduation.  

After the what CLAT is. It’s eligibility criteria must be known. Student who is applicable for this exam must be 12th pass with 45% and for SC and ST applicants is 40%.  

There is no age limit. You can test yourself  up to upper age but there is amount of students who is not able to fulfill the eligibility criteria owning to lack of awareness students opt for wrong way to achieve their aim. CLAT eligibility criteria is as simple as possible for students  who relates to law field after their Higher school. 

There is plenty of institutes and coaching centers in India that way Delhi is also untouched city with institutes and coaching centers by the way it has more teaching hubs than any other city in India.  
Many students have no requirement to study in coaching, they have confident in self study while many students have to study at coaching centers. In these students one of the going to best institutes but there is full of rat race and examining the institutes on the basis of good or bad  will be hard nut to scale. This competition amongst institutions creates a chaos which indirectly affects the students. Due to competitive environment, students are  really affected the highly fees by the institutes and this makes a cause of difference between poor and rich students in society and they give up their institute and compel to self study. 

That’s why CLAT could be a most convenient course on the basis of its eligibility criteria for students who confidents in self study.

CLAT 2025 : Delhi High Court Finds Two Answers 'Demonstrably Wrong', Directs To Revise Results Of Petitioner

The Delhi High Court has ruled that courts shouldn't take a completely hands-off approach when it comes to correcting errors in answer keys, especially when those errors are clearly wrong. Justice Jyoti Singh emphasized that courts have the power to review and challenge answer keys, even if expert opinions are involved. In a recent case, a candidate challenged the final answer key for the CLAT-UG 2025 exam, specifically questioning five answers. The court found errors in two of those questions and decided that ignoring those mistakes would be unfair to the candidate and potentially affect other candidates' results. As a result, the court ordered that the candidate's result be revised to award marks for one of the incorrectly answered questions. Additionally, the court excluded another question from the exam, as recommended by an expert committee.
